Minimalist Approach to Creating Flash Websites
One of the main rules to stick to while creating a website is not to overdo it. A talented graphic designer should feel that subtle edge between “too little” and “too much” creating truly elegant, impressive and of course user-friendly web page designs. Everything should be harmoniously combined and well balanced without overwhelming the website structure and confusing its visitors.
But sometimes wisely used extreme simplicity speaks even more, that is less is more or maybe even less but better. Yeah, what is at issue is the minimalist approach in website creation.
Minimalist websites are usually determined by:
- the use of the basic geometric shapes as outlines
- the use of tasteful non-fussy bright color combinations
- usually natural textures and colors
- an economy with words
- the absence of cluttered forms and complex navigation
- extreme simplicity, lightness and at the same time full self-descriptiveness of the design.
